What's your typical process to build or upgrade a website?
- We listen to you and ask questions to understand your business and what you want to achieve (this includes who the target audience is and what actions you wish them to take).
- We work with you to map out the site (the fancy name is Information Architecture) and define which tasks we will undertake and which you are responsible for.
- We provide a quote and if accepted, we charge a deposit.
- We get a deeper understanding of the business in order to develop a theme for the website.
- We suggest a "wireframe" layout for discussion and approval.
- We discuss, present and get your approval for the colour scheme and more detailed layout.
- Either you can choose to provide all content including text, images and other media (which we may need to prepared for the web), or we can assist you with additional chargeable services such as copy writing or image search (the rights to use images from online photo libraries need to be purchased).
- We build and put the website into a test area for viewing.
- We work with you to define any modifications required.
- The site is tagged for Search Engine Optimisation.
- The balance is charged when online.
- The site is submitted to the search engines for listing.
